Arsh Not Fair...
Andrey Arshavin has take a break from appearing on the Arseblog Arsecast to say a few more words to the media.

He's said that Sir Wenger isn't among the top three managers in the world, citing others as his preference to manage the Russian national team, and has then gone on to say how good Barcelona are: "Even playing just one season for Barcelona would make a pinnacle of my whole career. Barca are the best team in the world and I enjoy their style of play so much, but after watching them against Arsenal [in the Champions League quarter-final] the enjoyment has quickly turned into sorrow. They are so much better than anybody else at the moment..."

Well perhaps young Andrey, if you stopped spending so much time slagging us off in the press and being lazy/injured, they wouldn't be... GRR...

Fab Pay Off...
Rumours around this week that a 'boardroom source close to Goal.com...' reckon that, last summer, Fabregas was paid £3m to stick around, and NOT go to Barcelona. Nicely mixing up some crazy metaphors, the highlight quote for me was: "Fabregas and his advisers know they have the club over both barrels..." I'm just happy we took the bull by the scruff of the horns and kept him at The Emirates...

MK Dons His Pundit Hat...
Following another potless season, ex-defender Martin Keown has said we need to sign some experience to go with our youngsters: "Arsenal need to buy in a sprinkling of proven quality players and introduce them alongside the current players, and they will drag them over the line. It's very important that you have these people in the squad. They are people who have been there and done it. They are people who you can look up to and rely on to show that quality..."

However, Clint Eastmond reckons the youngsters we have ARE good enough...
