Cesc Back... JW Dropped... Unlucky Theo...

Theo Bawl-Cott...
Theo has been speaking out about his ommission from Fabio Capello's World Cup squad. You may remember Theo was nailed on for a place but has said that he was told on the phone by Capello that he wouldn't be required while he was out playing golf, he said: "I did have a tear to be fair with my cousin and my mate. Then I played the best golf ever..." Bless him.

Not sure about you, we've not heard anything, but apparently Barcelona have said they might be interested in signing Cesc Fabregas? Anyone hear anything like that? Theo however, doesn't think the World Cup winning Spanisher will be going anywhere next season: "Cesc is a big player for Arsenal so I'm looking forward to playing with him next season, he's one of those players who spots a ball no one else would. I've been texting him. I sent my congratulations for the World Cup and said what a great pass he made for the winner..."

Fabregas is back at The Emirates today, light training in an open, members day session... more on Twitter when we get it... also, more rumours of a signing being unveiled today... :(

Dirty Sanchez...
Sanchez Watt has joined Dirty Leeds on loan for the whole of this season. 19 year old Herschel Sanchez Watt, to give him his real name has joined up with Leeds already and everyone at ArsenalShorts would like to wish him well. It's rumoured that a Leeds website with no readers could be interested in taking our 'Lofty's Spanish cousin' joke on loan for the rest of the season too...

Wilshere, England?
Jack Wilshere has been left out of the England U21 squad, who will play Uzbekistan next week fuelling rumours of a full England senior call up for the tough tackling, bulldog faced youngster. England play Hungary next week in their first game since the disasterous non-effort, letting themselves, their families and more importantly us down* at the World Cup this summer and Wilshere could well be called up after some tigrish performances pre-season with the Gunners, Theo Walcott could also be selected its thought perhaps, maybe.

*Please note: No Arsenal players were to blame in the making of this disasterous World Cup non-effort.

More later kids, and remember, aside from the above, 'the rest is just b*llocks'...
