Liverpool 1 - 1 Arsenal...
In an action packed encounter at Anfield, our second unbeaten season got off to a near perfect start with a point at Anfield. Following a red card for Joe Cole, David Mm'Bop scored a screamer past Almunia to put the home side ahead, despite being a man down, and with Daniel Agger not having a clue where he was for the last half an hour, we struggled to make our two player difference count. Until that was, Pepe Reina was dealt a punch, square in the Cadburys by none other than the fickle hand of karma himself.
Following his hilarious orchestration of pulling a Barcelona shirt over Cesc Fabregas's head after Spains World Cup win, Karma decided it was time to get things levelled up. Chamakh bundled the ball goalboundwards with time running out, it bounced off a post, into Reina's arms, but the momentum and the karma combined to take the prankster across the line and won us a point. On refraction, a fair result and with no Fabregas and a half fit van Persie, we can't have too many complaints... apart from the impressive Koscielny's red card obviously. Koscielny was impressive, not his red card just to clarify.
