Ramsey Confident Arsenal is 'the Place to be'...
Aaron Ramsey is convinced he can develop as a player at Arsenal and help them win the Premier League title in the coming years.
The young Welsh midfielder was on the end of a horror tackle from Stoke's Ryan Shawcross in February has been out of action ever since.
Ramsey is now working hard to recover from the injury and get back into first team contention for some stage next season, but the Gunners hierarchy must have already been impressed by what they have seen of the 19-year-old as they have offered him a new long-term deal.
Although the midfielder is not likely to return to Premier League action in 2010, the offer of a new contract shows Arsene Wenger and the rest of the Arsenal hierarchy are convinced he will make a full recovery and become an integral figure for the Gunners as they look to upset the Premier League betting and take the title from Chelsea.
"I'm convinced the next few years will be a time where my career kicks off on to a new level, it's an exciting time to be part of the club," Ramsey said.
"I'm very happy at Arsenal, it's a great club and I have learned a lot."
Arsenal do not want to lose any important players this summer and have rejected an offer from Barcelona for their captain Cesc Fabregas, who is currently with World Cup betting favourites Spain.
The Catalan giants made a move for the 23-year-old, but Arsenal have issued a statement they have "no intention" of selling the Spanish star.
