Campbell Edging to Celtic... Wenger on Season... more...
Well the time is upon us, soooo excited, gonna spend the next few weeks in front of the telly with my sons! Weeks of frustration, smashing up the remote, getting upset about how unfair everything is, and how we never seem to do well against the big boys. Thats right, Mario Galaxy 2 is out on the Wii! WOOHOO!
Oh, and the World Cup obv. Anyway, without further Edu, its the news round!
No News Friday...
Just checked... there literally is nothing happening apart from Xavi saying he wants Fabregas again and more Joe Cole nonsense. When you consider, the Fabregas story is a story born out of a made up lie from Gilleume Ballbag and a paltry faxed bid from Barcelona, nothing more, and the Joe Cole story is literally based on a throwaway comment from Harry Redknapp, this is going to be a loooong summer...
McSol McAmpbell...
With the news that William Gallas is off to Juventus today, as opposed to yesterday when he was off to Greece, its looking increasingly likely that Sol Campbell is off to Celtic to join up with Aaron Lennon's Dad Neil.
"I'm getting married on July 17, but Neil's told me he's quite flexible (bit personal!) that if I need ten days-two weeks honeymoon then he'll be fine with that. That really makes me happy because if I'm not happy, and my family's not happy, then you're not going to play your best football are you? If I were to sign for Celtic then I'm likely miss the first leg of the European tie..."
Key Players Key...
Sir Arsene Wenger has been reflecting on our disappointing season and how we struggled with injuries: "At the beginning of March we were in touch and had the same chance as everyone to win, but when you go into the final games and you do not have your players it’s too difficult, it’s impossible. Four, five, six key players not in the squad, not available..."
"You need to be a magician then to win the Premier League if everybody else has their players. Even at home against Barcelona I believe that we started the game straight away with Gallas not being fit, Arshavin injured. When we came back to 2-2 you felt that we could still win the game. But straight away Cesc got injured and was out for the rest of the season..."
He added: "Worse injury news was to come in May, when Fabianksi was passed fit for the Wigan game..."
